Stained Glass Phoenix by KuriosDrachen Stained Glass Phoenix by KuriosDrachen
It's a Phoenix, my first stained glass project ever that I did in my junior year of high school.

It's sloppy, but you can't blame me, I didn't even get a glass grinder till halfway through fitting the pieces, dremels don't work so good and tend to make them shatter :D

Comment if you please!

I think it's a great piece. I love the shape, seems like a super tough one for a starter piece!

Well it was certainly a learning experience. I didn't want to start small, go big or go home I guess :)

Thanks for the compliment!

That sounds like me with sewing. The problem with starting small is it's hard to throw all that effort into something you aren't going to like.

It really is lovely, I'd like to try glass someday, but the only place around here that had lessons closed ages ago.

Well I learned by myself, you really only need to research a little. But a class or someone who's done it is VERY helpful, though just barely not essential. :)

With my lack of coordination and that many sharp objects, I feel like I'd need supervision!
